Cosmetology
Cosmetology is a field designed for the creative individual; someone who loves working with people and is excited by changing trends and style. At Avalon School of Cosmetology, our Cosmetology program covers the essential skills and basics you need to get started in the cosmetology industry – and the freedom to innovate and create.
The Cosmetology program at Avalon School of Cosmetology is 1,600 hours and can easily be completed in just over one year. Both day and evening programs are available to fit any schedule. We are nationally accredited, and financial aid may be available to those who qualify.
Our hands-on program provides you with basic practical skills, safety judgments and proper work habits, all under the guidance of our experienced and dedicated instructors.

- Basic and advanced techniques in hair extensions
Graduates of our Cosmetology program should feel confident, skilled and ready to pass the Arizona State Board examination in preparation for gaining an entry-level position in the cosmetology industry. We also offer an on-site Career Services department – whether you’re looking to find your first position or to make a career change.
